server moderation, RC Boozer

Hello,

Been enjoying your BF3 server for a while now and enjoy it several hours a day (id : LCF Rahan9595)

Joined it this evening on Kharg.

RC Boozer was playing on the other team at that time. Don't know if my team mates were camping or not and truly I don't care. I was not, running all around the map (if you check my stats you will quickly find out I can't careless about K/D ratios and stuff like that).

Mr Boozer spawnkilled me by the containers, I didn't say a thing cos I know how the spawn points are messed up on this map.

Less than a minute later, I am by this point, hiding by a container, regenerating health after being badly hurt when RC Boozer runs in front of me (not spawning, running) and I shoot him.

That's all it took to be kicked out of a server for the first time in my gaming experience, which goes back to the late 70's

I'm not expecting anything of this message but I had to let you know. Administrating a server comes with responsabilies. you can't just kick people like that, especially when there's nothing to blame them for.

I wil not except that I hit you meanwhile you respawning ... as you say: the spawn points are not good implemented - that's sad but true. I'm always running and killing through this map, so it can happen that I hit sometimes a respawner. I die also very often when I respawn - thats the poor thing of this game mode (TDM) and can only changed by DICE.

Well, remembering: I was killed by you three times in this round, when you are sitting anywhere at the corners. If you are regenerating or whatever - this ist something I cannot see. But these three kills let me conclude that you're camping ... and nothing else was the kick for that. It's a run and gun game mode and it's not nice when people are waiting to frag the runners ... If this happens one or two times over a round - well, shit happens ... but after the third time? How would have this looked for you?

I'm not expecting anything of this message but I had to let you know. Administrating a server comes with responsabilies. you can't just kick people like that, especially when there's nothing to blame them for.

You can be sure that we try to manage our servers with responsibility and care and do not kick randomly.

This will be my last message on this topic since all I want is to keep playing on your server, which is on top of my favorite thanks to his no claymores/rpg scripts but I can't let you pretend I'm a liar

You didn't hit me : you spawn killed me, fair and square. I agree it's up to Dice to fix this. If a guy spawns right in front of me, I shoot too, no problem.

I did kill you 3 or 4 times (I was 19/3 when you kicked me) but only one time crouching by a container, regenerating health. The other times were fair shots in the open. I did respawn many times in the same area but, and you can't see this, was because most of your team was camping in the warehouses.

If you feel like running all around a map such as Kharg where any ennemy can spawn right behing you it's your choice and your style of play. I'll stick to 3 areas on this map mainly depending on where I spawn : warehouses, containers by the warehouses, containers on the other side of the map. Still this is not camping : I'm not hiding in a corner waiting for players to pass me by, I run all over these 3 areas.

Dice doesn't give admin the proper tools to monitor a server properly. Considering this plus the well known messed up spawn points on Kharg, please refrain if you're not 100% what you're doing. It can only be very bad understood, especially when you kick 3 people of the same team about to win the round =)

I didn't called you a liar by now anywhere in my answer ...

Hm, you respawned "many times", when you where on a 19-3 run? Let me count ... could have been only 3 times at a max ...
Sure, there have been some campers also on my side and I've kicked two of them too, when I saw that they did not moved ...

Yes, that's true - it's my style to play that I'm running around at this map. And it's true that I can't divine your thoughts if you are sitting at a corner hiding by a container and killing me. But when it happens several times it was suspicious to me.

Ah, now we come to the real argument. You ascribe to me that I've kicked the players to win the round? Certainly, what should I do as for the rest?! This means that I also lose rounds and do not rig the sides. As mentioned above, I've imposed the same standards to both teams.

If you had killed me onces from your position I didn't had any reason to do anything, but it wasn't so. Otherwise we would not talk here at all concerning this.

Well, I think this topic is trashed out. Everyone has his own opinion ... in any case I find your assumptions disoriented. Where and when you want to play is your decision ... it will not influence me.
