Tip of the day #1 - Notifications / Benachrichtigungen

Tip of the day posts are containing English and German descriptions of the same feature. / Tip des Tages Nachrichten enthalten Beschreibungen einer Funktion in Englisch und Deutsch.
English:
Since our website ClusterWars.net is a non-commercial website, we keep our policies reduced to an absolut minimum level concerning E-mail messages. Therefore our default settings feature no E-mail notification to your registered E-mail account, if certain website activities took place.
Acitvities or happenings are:
- somebody sends you a private message (PM)
- somebody replied to a forum post you made
- somebody thank you for a post or statement made
and more ...
If you do not want to miss anything important, you can easily choose the type of messages you would like to receive by E-mail.
These are the steps to follow:
After your login select at the upper right side, next to your username "User Control Panel", like in the following example screenshot:
Within the User Control Panel switch to "Board preferences" and "Edit notification settings" at the left side. Make sure the mark the checkbox E-Mail next to the option you would like to be informed about. See screenshot below:

Das unsere Webseite ClusterWars.net nichts mit einer kommerziellen Webseite zu tun hat, sind unsere E-Mail Richtlinien auf ein absolutes Minimum beschränkt. Allerdings kann jeder Nutzer unserer Webseite festlegen, über welche wichtigen Vorgänge oder Aktionen er gerne per E-Mail informiert werden möchte.

Wer nichts Wichtiges verpassen möchte, kann wir folgt bestimmen über was er gerne an seine E-Mail Adresse benachrichtigt wird.
Hierzu wechselt nach dem Login in Euren persönlichen Bereich, zu finden rechts in der Nähe Eures Benutzernamens, Bespiel Bildschirmfoto:
Im persönlichen Bereich wechselt nun zu "Einstellungen" und dann "Benachrichtigungen einstellen". In der angezeigten Übersicht setzt einen Haken in das Kontrollfeld "E-MAIL" in jedes gwünschte Feld. Beispielfoto:
Bei Fragen könnt Ihr Euch jederzeit an uns wenden.
