Hey Folks and Mates,

what do you think about arranging a Battlefield Vietnam War including the main and most active players on the Stratego Servers.

I played many many matches with my mates in Call of Duty 2 and i would like to try out a real match with concrete distribution of exercises and tasks for each player, including talking about and creating a team-tactic before the match.

I think this could be really interesting and even more fun.

Tell me what you think about it. I hope we could find a time, when many players are able to be online.

could be something like

to match the number of players. i guess u would like to do it conquest style, not coop. what about the maps? usually every team can choose 1 map, then 2 rounds on each map.

plus a private question, u mind doin it after the 26th of july? i'm gonna be on vacation for nearly 2 weeks, but i want to participate

ID is already pretty close to it.

Here some more infos about the basic idea:
- closed server
- concrete date and time to play at
- conquest style
- 2 teams, some time before the match it's clear who plays in which team, so they can coordinate tactics and choose their home-map
- 2 maps, including sidechange
- the participating players should be some active Stratego players, but there is no need for any clan membership
- Usage of Teamspeak, every team has its own channel

The main idea behind this is to organise a more planned, constructive and tactical match with all possibilitys BFV offers. Planning the tactics, consequent exectution of orders.....
--> In a nutshell: A real "match", but only among the usual Stratego players.

Just to confirm, closed conquest server no problem, same for the TS channel capacities. So a green light from my end on this matter.

Another idea: Maybe we could play a match against another clan under a new tag for a coalition of the most active Stratego players.

Sounds good to me too ... but there will be the problem which always returns: to find a time where all the guys have time to play. That's the main thing why such plans failed until now ... Well, maybe this time it will be work ...
