Battalion 1944 vs Days of War

Since I am really looking forward to this game, I was browsing the net for some news these days ... it is still planned to be released in 2017, well a beta play would be nice at this stage ...

However I found this kind of comparisation made which reflects the traditional gamer loving and remembering the "good old times" of older games, while trying to put some opinion towards Days of War, which is an another kickstarter game aiming about the same audience ...

Any of the two games will in no way be a good choice for todays so called casual gamers ... I wonder if there is anybody out there on this forum loving to play this kind of games again? At least both of them are based on the Unreal 4 graphics engine, so it should help to get some decent graphics on current hardware.
