Battlefield 2 Maintenance 21st/22nd September

On Monday night, September 21st at 9pm PDT (The morning of September 22nd for Europe, 5am BST and 6am CEST), GameSpy will be relocating Battlefield 2 to new master server hardware. Also, 3 hours later, Windows updates will be applied to their servers and will disconnect players from the presence (BF2 and 2142) and messaging system (BF2142 only). Players may also be disconnected as the Windows updates are applied.

During the maintenance move itself, anyone in a server already playing should not notice any difference in service, however those browsing for game servers may notice a small window of approximately 10 minutes where no results will be returned. Once the DNS has updated the servers will show in the browser as normal.

Statistics, medals, ribbons and awards earned during this maintenance period will be reported and processed as normal.
